My rant today is simple.
I was speaking with a colleague at work about my weekend. I said I had been mountain biking in the woods. He used to ride semi-professionally. Imagine that!
I also mentioned that I was looking at a new Kayak. Low and behold, he also used to enjoy a spot of water based past times., but of course he could have pursued this as a potential career, only engineering was the safe choice.
As you can imagine, this bugged the hell out of me.
